MY Approach

My approach is learner-centered and performance-focused, using story-driven scenarios with clear narrative arcs and believable personas to build context, decision-making, and transfer. I bring graphic design rigor to learning UX, using visual hierarchy, consistency, and accessibility to reduce cognitive load and clarify the path through the experience. I use scenario-based learning, and data-informed iteration to align content with business goals and measurable outcomes, while keeping the experience coherent, engaging, and brand-aligned.

A good Learning Experience Designer is, first and foremost, a good storyteller. We’re drawn to strong narratives, which is why we remember tales like Hansel and Gretel and what happened to the three little pigs.

I design scenario-based learning as a kind of hero’s journey, with a call to adventure, knowledge gathering, the darkest hour, and a resolution. I layer in learning objectives, assessments, and accessibility, while using visual hierarchy and cognitive load management to keep the journey focused, human-centered, and tied to real performance.
